one good thing that might put a monkey-wrench in the propaganda machines progress is the Internet~!

but as with Yahoo censorship, they might be catching up and taking total control~! This is probably the biggest single reason for America's political aptitude deficit. In 1985 there were 150+ private companies that controlled the mass media, now there are 5. This is why Journalist Without Borders ranked the U.S. at 44th in the world for freedom or press. And there is an old saying that goes, "you don't know what you don't know." This is why people will argue that McCain or Obama represent "change" when no one will say the obvious, Rep/Dem (both complicit in the financial crisis, D Clinton, R Gramm, R Greenspan, D Obama, R McCain all received money regarding de regulation) this country has been controlled by these 2 parties for over 150 years. Change would only come from a viable 3rd party and true change would only come from a true multi-party election.
